ReMa-MEDIO AMBIENTE, S.L. (ReMa) provides Environmental and Engineering Consultancy services and has extensive experience in the product and organization level sustainability (energy, environment, technical assistance, eco-innovation). ReMa is a SME founded in 2000 by a team of expert entrepreneurs with environmental career in different industrial sectors.

It has participated as member of national standard committees such as: CTN 198: Sustainability in Construction, CTN 150/SC3: Life Cycle Assessment, CTN 216: Energy MS, Energy AUDIT, Carbon Footprint and others. Since 2004 the ReMa team has developed several Life Cycle Assessment related studies (Ecodesign, Carbon footprint, EPD) in various sectors: agri-food, petrochemical, construction materials, plastics.

ReMa has provided with technical assistance to more than 60 organizations in compliance with legal requirements, and Management System: Quality, Environmental, Ecodesign, Energy, RDT System. Involved in RTD projects on topics: resource materials, LCA, circular economy, eco-innovation,

Also, ReMa has developed projects at Sustainable Construction Product level: Ecolabels and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). Has participated in expert committees in the development of PCR for different products: ceramic tiles, natural stone and paper. Is also a member of the EPD program (DAPc®) advisory board.

Sustainable building certification schemes:

•       BREEAM: Member of the POLLUTION-WG and INNOVATION-WG of the Spanish adaptation of the criteria. Experience: BREEAM.ES one industrial building at Cartagena

•       GBCe: ReMa is associated with Green Building Council España (GBCe) and is a VERDE Accredited Assessor. Experience: two buildings at Castellón, one single dwelling prototype at Valencia.

ReMa is stakeholder of “EU Environmental Footprint Pilot Phase” at Construction Products Working Group (CPWG), which main objective is to contribute to better understanding the differences between the requirements of EN15804 and the PEF method. With 5 relevant EF pilots about pipes, thermal insulation, metal sheets, paints, and photovoltaic panels.
