BREEAM® Building Design and Certification

Technical services for the design, certification and maintenance of buildings complying with the requirements of the international protocol BREEAM® (Building Research Establishment's Environmental Assessment Method) for sustainable buildings.

Also this protocol, created in the U.K. even before the LEED®, interprets sustainability as a broad concept which can be divided in different aspects, such as, sustainable management of resources, health & wellbeing, energy efficiency, optimization of transportation services, water efficiency, use of ecological materials, land & soil responsible use, pollution control, implementation of innovative technologies. The level of sustainability reached by such buildings is certified by the Building Research Establishment institute and is recognized internationally.

Under our point of view the requirements imposed by BREEAM® are higher than the ones taken as reference by LEED®. Therefore, also in this case the project has to be developed consciously following the protocol needs from the early design stage, through the maintenance until the possible certification.
